The Spot News – Television gold award winners were the CBC Television Newsroom, Halifax, NS – for the story “Ernie Fage”.
For Enterprise Reporting – Radio, the gold award winners were Joan Weeks/Gary Mansfield - CBC Radio, Sydney, NS for the story “Overdosing on Crime”.
For Continuing Coverage – Radio, the gold award winner was Mark Quinn - CBC Radio, St. John’s, NL for the story “Flawed Cancer Tests”.
And for Continuing Coverage – Television, the gold award winner was Paul Withers - CBC Television, Halifax, NS for the story “Ernie Fage”.
For Feature Writing – Radio, the gold award winner was Myfanwy Davies - CBC Radio, Fredericton, NB for the story “The Boy Who Never Returned”.
In the VideoJournalist category, the gold award winner was Doug Greer - CBC Television, Corner Brook, NL for a show of his work.
And Doug Greer was the gold award winner in the Spot News Photojournalist – Television category for the story “Landslide”.
For Feature Photojournalism – Television, the gold award winner was Eric Woolliscroft - CBC Television, Halifax, NS for the story “Karen Furneaux”.
The gold award winner of the Jim MacNeill New Journalist Award was Bill van Asperen - CBC Television, Charlottetown, PEI for a show of his work.
