Speaking of “re-cycled” content, you do the green movement proud, Allan. Rather than just making your point once on Nov. 1 and leaving it at that, why not Rework, Restate and Regurgitate?

It’s interesting to see what the CBC means when it claims to value and appreciate viewer/listener feedback.

Considering that these are people who are loyal viewers/listeners of the CBC, it’s probably easy to find a lot of absurd remarks in the audience-relations mailbag.
In fact, there may be enough for a book, and the CBC could be missing out on a good retail product for their souvenir stores (they’re more like kiosks, aren’t they?)
Perhaps titled “Our Viewers Say The Darndest Things” or maybe “… and you wonder why we think we’re smarter than the public.”

But it’s good to see the CBC being able to re-cycle free content, and to get an insight into how much respect is accorded the audience behind their backs, and “officially”.

Oh dear… a leadership debate replacing ten minutes of “Corrie”? If I was as an avid watcher of the programme some months ago, I’d be just as steamed.

No matter how important impending elections are, no one should replace Corrie with anything!

Now, all I have to do is cope with the fact that The National was moved for some stinking American Idol copy…

Yes Allan, perhaps there should be a disclaimer on the real official site’s Contact Us section saying that if you have a comment on the programming of your public broadcaster it may be posted on the broadcaster’s “official blog” to be made fun of by all. This blog is embarassing.
