Speaking of radio, CBC cannot be heard in Fort Erie, On, very disappointing to say the least!
Please explain why!
I understand that at one time all of CBC could be heard in Fort Erie and all over the Niagara Reagion.
CBC is fine in St. Catharine’s On, if that feed is coming from Toronto, Fort Erie is just next door, why can’t your stations be heard in Fort Erie?
What about Niagara Falls,Port Colborne and Welland On,
can it be heard there?
G.
I believe CBC 1 is available at 90.5 out of Crystal Beach. Give that a try and you should be able to pick up the “1″
Perhaps somebody knows why CBC Radio One in Vancouver hasn’t moved to FM yet? 690 is just terrible in many parts of the city — much like 740 was in Toronto back in the day; not sure if people in Calgary have a hard time or other AM cities.
It seems like there are spots on the dial where it could fit. Has this been talked about before and not pursued? Is it too costly?
Of course, Radio Two has a lovely FM station in Vancouver, appropriate to its musical content, as have la Première Chaîne of Radio-Canada and Espace Musique. So what’s up with 690?
HInt! Hint!
Maybe someone inside CBC’s tranismission dept. will tell me why I cannot get CBC radio in Fort Erie.
It’s been said, that in the 80’s CBC was heard in Fort Erie, is that a fact?
thanks
G.
CBC Radio1 should be available at 90.5 which is from a transmitter in Crystal Beach, Ontario. It is a relay of 99.1 from Toronto.
