Bloggus Interruptus

Owing to a pretty bad bike accident yesterday (thrown about six feet over my handlebars), it seems I’ve broken one or more bones in my left hand. So for the next day or two I’ll only be blogging stuff if it’s urgent or really big news. Comment moderation (which can be done with one hand) won’t be affected.

Could we have regular updates of all injuries suffered by CBC employees?
Perhaps a scrolling banner that includes the job title and location of each person, how long it’s expected to recover and what steps are recommended to prevent future incidents.

Hey man, drink lots of tea, preferably proper English tea. You’ll heal quicker. Take care, and take it easy.

Tod! The exact same thing happened to me! Two weeks in and I’m typing a lot better again. Wishing you a speedy recovery, and you can come borrow my rooster stuffed animal to put under your hand to help you type better if you’d like.

    Nash says:

Hey Tod, hope you feel better soon… Oh, if you do drink tea, maybe you should be careful… the last thing you need is to badly burn your other hand.

And maybe it’s time to “upgrade” to a tricycle? It helped my grandfather avoid unfortunate accidents… then again, so did Depends.

    Rob Campbell says:

What happened? Did they catch the guy? Do you have insurance? Did you get angry and hit the driver of the SUV that cut you off?

lol! Nothing like that. The front wheel of my bike locked and sent me flying over the handlebars.
