Contest winner hands back prize
A recent winner of a hockey contest on Information Morning in Fredericton gave back his grand prize, asking the show hold an auction with proceeds going to a child who couldn’t afford to play hockey this year. Moosehead Breweries agreed to match the winning amount. The auction took place live on CBC Radio’s Information Morning on a few days ago and raised approximately $1,700, which will help several children play hockey in Fredericton this season.

I’m so glad to hear that there are still a few good people in this world who are willing to do something to benefit others. Good for him, and yaa to Moosehead too!
