Please explain to the n00b what is Dalet other than the Hebrew letter daleth please. Wiki actually failed.
Hi Dave — Dalet is the software we use at CBC Radio. It’s much loved and much hated. It’s a pretty basic four-track desktop mixer. Really the reason we use it is it has a built-in shared database to share audio files, and a good automation system.

No, don’t like.
Trivial.
Also, pictures with black frame that say something, found all over the internet, are dumber than Hallmark cards.
People who use them are not as smart as they think, but rather irritating.
Back to your good work, please.
And never do this again, unless it’s about me.

It should say “DEFEAT - Dalet crashes. For the love of Allah, Buddah, and Krishna please stop investing in this Horrific Software.”
Peter H says:
this would have been more effective if it had read “daylight” instead of dalet crashes. i mean, who cares?
Megan says:
I originally had no idea what Dalet was either, but this blog is called Inside the CBC and the software sounds like something people at CBC Radio use on a daily basis. A totally reasonable thing to blog about even if it was done in a bit of a cheesy way. Why the pissy attitudes?
