Behind the Scenes at CBC Edmonton

Note to other regions: I’m hoping to travel to four more CBC bureaus around the country to do a similar behind-the-scenes tour. Please email me in Groupwise (TOD MAFFIN) if you’d be willing to do a tour for the blog! It takes only an hour. :)

I can’t believe you didn’t show how long it takes that hydraulic elevator to arrive and make it up one floor. I swear it’s a defining attribute of CBC Edmonton. That and how close the drug dealers are - right outside the windows of the radio studio.

    Tod Maffin says:

That’s a really good point. It took forever. Most elevators can cover 6 or 7 floors in the same amount of time.

    Jon says:

Great Job! I hope you’ll do Calgary!!!!

    Steph says:

yes lau… and just to add - it was recently voted worst elevator in the city by one of the free weeklies. we all got a kick out of that.

Thanks for sharing! And again, thanks to both you and Ron for including a bit on the library.
