Infamous? What's with the editorializing?

Tod replies: I figure it's a fair characterization. Its latest appearances in the news have usually been critical.

Hey Tod! A quick clarification; I'm not on the Wikimedia board. I *am* working at Wikimedia, but I'm not on the board.

And, just my opinion but I personally think "infamous" is a little harsh. How about "the seminal collaborative online resource" (Nielson Buzzmetrics), or, the world's "top online news and information destination" (Nielson/NetRatings) ;-)

Hi Tod,

It is great news to hear Sue (former head of CBC.ca, a site that I love) is helping out the Wikimedia Foundation.

If you don't mind me saying, reading your entry, it gives the impression that Sue has join the broad of directors when strictly speaking, Sue is "consultant and special advisor to the board".

As to an entry for Sue in Wikipedia, I guess anyone can add an entry for Sue as long as someone wants to start the work and also shows that Sue meets the criteria of having an entry in the Wikipedia. I think Sue's work on CBC.ca may qualify her.

Best Regards,
Kempton
