Don Cherry may not be the Energizer Bunny, but he is going to be the Rayovac Man. The colourful hockey commentator has signed on to be the personality behind the relaunch of Rayovac batteries and will feature in all of the company’s publicity. A Rayovac spokesman called Cherry “arguably the most likable public figure in Canada,” while Cherry responds with, “I have used Rayovac batteries and I can honestly say that Rayovac lasts as long as their competitors.” (Said while eating a Quiznos sub and popping a Cold-fX?)
