How to Follow CBC Personalities
on Twitter
Tod Maffin, the previous author of this blog, has created a Twitter list of CBC personalities.
The list includes a bunch of notable CBC types who Twitter including Jian Ghomeshi, Randy Bachman, Strombo, Jonathan Goldstein, Susan Ormiston, Wendy Mesley and many, many more.
If you’re interested in Twitter updates directly from CBC journalists, there’s a list for that too, click here.

Google “climategate” and you get 13,000,000 news articles and listings. Search CBC for it – nadda, bupkiss, zilch, zero. Just blog replies aplenty to a coupe of embarrasing whitewash jobs by Jian on Q and MacDonald on Quirks. Can any CBC insider shed some light on discussions inside the mother ship and what the reasoning is for ignoring this major story? Does the CBC have some kind of (like China) internet filter that only lets pre-approved ideas and reality inside the fence?
Hey Mike, the story was posted to the CBC web site on yesterday: http://bit.ly/6lDu5W
Thanks Paul. I see that the CBc is not allowed to use the term that the rest of the world is using – ClimateGate. That’s why the CBC search turns up nothing. The hundreds of comments on the CBC’s ‘story’ are worth a read to people who aren’t inside the mothership.
I’d still like an insider’s description of the agony that the CBC must be going through to try and ignore the facts of the case and adhere to Suzuki’s and Gore’s line. Anyone?
anyone know how I might enjoy a recent broadcast of alleged CBC personality Tod Maffin, as listed just before Mansbridge?
CBC’s new motto: “A day late and a dollar short” – best short comment to the CBCs feable ClimateGate “story”
Hey Mike, I realize you’re upset about this ClimateGate story, but that has nothing to do with this post. I think your comments would be more appropriate on the news story itself.
If it’s the Mike I suspect it is, Paul, then he’s already long ago decided such things to be irrelevant.
“…the previous author…” reminds me that your FeedBurner feed (which is still active) still names Todd as the author for the site. The Atom and RSS feeds from ItCBC itself are correct, though.
Peter, to my knowledge there is no way to change that in feedburner because it’s set on the feed subscription. if you un-subscribe and then re-subscribe that will update the feed author.
not sure who Dwight thinks he knows who is what … concerned to see the CBC Insiders all seem to “think” the same way … not much diversity of thought … the thought-fence-round-CBC theory is reinforced
only you lucky civil servants know how news stories get shaped or shut down … the outsiders only pay for it
So you’re not the “Mike in NS” of legend(around this blog, at least)? You write in a fashion that reminds me of him/her.
wow, Mike – bitter much?
