InsideTheCBC.com now available on iPhone

UPDATE: Temporarily disabled until a software conflict with comments is sorted out. As one of the commenters noted, this site and every other web site still works on iPhones and iPod Touches… this enhancement simply makes it much more readable.

With the iPhone coming to Canada later this year, I’ve started a bit early and launched a special iPhone version of InsideTheCBC.com. Just visit the site with any iPhone or iPod Touch to get this special version.

(Programmed by Canadian firm BraveNewCode which is giving the theme away for free.)

    iPod Touchie says:

I gotta be honest, it looks kind of cheesy.
And everything is by “author.” Which is kind of obvious and a bit superfluous.

Yeah, it is sort of odd. I’m looking into why it’s doing that. I made some changes to the server and this may have been caught up in it. — Tod

    What’s the login for?

The logo at the top is totally different than your usual branding and I suspect that it isn’t yours.

Comments cause a “fatal error” and can’t be displayed, breaking the page.

Hmmm… yikes! You’re right. I went through a few posts on my iPhone and they worked, but you’re right, the comments do seem to be borked on most of them. I’ll take it down until we can get it fixed. Thanks for the report! — Tod

To be honest, the site has always been available on the iPhone, but it always worked.
