CBC Radio 4 launches in 12 cities
CBC Radio this morning launched CBC Radio 4 in 12 cities across Canada (additional regions will come onstream within a year). It’s available in a number of frequencies, depending on where you live.
“We’re thrilled to announce the launch of Radio 4,” said Lirpa Sloof, Executive Director, Networks and Business Administration, English networks, Radio and Digital Division. “Canadians have demanded that we offer this kind of programming, and we are proud of this offering.”
CBC Radio 4 also has a web site, which went live this morning at cbcradio4.com.

Finally, a radio network that brings together all that is demented about Canada and the CBC. I’m waiting for the riveting: Canada’s Greatest Crown Commissions, and a new call-in show Cross-Country Weather: Have your Say!
Poisson d’Avril! Thanks for the giggle.
If only it were true …
Please do follow up on Eric’s idea of Canada’s Greatest Crown Commissions. Insomniacs from St. John to Victoria will be so grateful.
Good one, Tod!
You forgot to mention the failed sequel to “50 Tracks”: “50 Stories” hosted by Ricardo Keens Douglas.
And the Littlest Hobo did NOT suck, man. Dems fightin’ woids.
