Now that the “Living” series (the regional daytime TV shows) have started to get their footing, I thought I’d do some quick captures of what the various shows are covering. This is taken from a couple of days last week.
Although what I don’t understand: In some cities, the show is called “Living [City]” and in others, it’s called “Living In [City]“. I know it’s not a big deal, but I hate inconsistencies.

Just like the show, their websites are starting to get their footing, and are in some cases, works in progress. Still worth a look though if you’re a working mom like me who isn’t at home to watch the show! I also like to see what’s on in the different regions. I’m “Living Montreal” but have seen some great and informative stuff just by surfing a living site from a region other than my own.

I think the names are different because there were already shows in some markets with the other name.
Ex in Toronto there is a show on local cable called Toronto Living.
Allison is right that some websites are starting to get their footing. But some websites just still “work in progress”. I am a bit disappointed that some websites still contains only the full length version of the shows. I am sure I would love to watch some segments but I don’t usually have time to watch a full 30 minutes show.
Again, I don’t know if it is strictly a man power issue but since other cities’ sites are doing well with their content, I hope the cities production teams can and will learn from each other.
I would love to point and link to some good show segments in my own blog. I hope that will come soon.
