    Donna Chung says:

Little Mosque isn’t funny. The only good thing about that show is Sitara Hewitt. When is she starting co-hosting The Hour?

    Dwight Williams says:

    You’re kidding, right?

Considering that they managed to get their hands on Carlo Rota(among many others), I think we’ve got a solid cast here. And the scripts are definitely getting better.

    Not Fair says:

    Hi,

I fell this is the wrong representation of the Islamic culture.

    enki says:

    Great show.

    Ganjit says:

Every scene is full of over the top mugging for the camera and stupid stereotypes of both Muslim and white people. CBC is throwing their (our money) away. Sorry gang - it may be a great thing to have a comedy show with Muslim characters but it’s just doesn’t make me laugh. It’s like sketch night at a high school drama club. The sooner that the only talented cast member leaves to do some good on The Hour, the better.

    Dwight Williams says:

And which member of the cast would that be, I wonder?

    sencha says:

REALLY??? where did you hear sitara is going to be co-hosting ‘the hour’?

    Umeed says:

Some of the things shown were totally Un-Islamic. Its no way to create comedy by showing wrong things: how can Muslims roast pig and have a drink night in order to get rid of a recent convert? The writer should be more creative to find other ways.

And, by the way, no Muslim couple would touch each other, while they are making their intention to pray, whether they are in a mosque or at their home. There’s separate time for making love.

    Masoom says:

Muhammad PBUH used to kiss Ayesha, his wife, before leaving for prayer and he never re-did his wodu(abolution). Obviously no muslim would engage sexually and then prayer without re-doing his/her wudo. Just thought i’d clarify this point Umeed.
