I recognize it.
It’s an original Boring microphone.
It looks like a prop - a replica of ring microphones like the Western Electric 600A.
It’s a carbon microphone. Probably a double-button carbon microphone, but there’s no way to be sure without seeing the other side.
I don’t know the make & model; Western Electric (and probably Northern Electric in Canada) made ‘em, along with a bunch of other companies.
It’s a classic Venezeulan Beaver Microphone.
On second look, I realize that I was mistaken. It’s really an exceptionally clean example of the classic steam-powered Funkenschiedte condensor microphone that has been the mainstay of the the Outside Broadcast Department at the Broadcasting Corp. of Newfoundland for many years.
