I’ve fixed a slight bug with the “Make this site my home page” thingy. Just click the button on the top yellow banner to make your Internet Explorer browser open to InsideTheCBC.com by default. (This trick only works for IE users, since that’s the official standard for CBC currently)

A CBC fan here. I use firefox and the Today’s Tip yellow banner and some other styles are corrupted. Not sure if you can change it but thought you would like to know.

Hi Rod, thanks… Can you email me a screen shot to tod_maffin@cbc.ca? I’ll try to figure it out. I’m using FF on Mac… perhaps there’s a platform difference?
I’m not Rod and I can’t do a screenshot, but with FF2.0 on Windows, the yellow Today’s Tip banner goes across both columns, and is partially covered by the top of the right-hand sidebar.
Similar happens on the main page, except that the date of the first entry backs up into the yellow box. (It doesn’t cover the text, but the sidebar overlap does.) Hope that’s of some help.
D’oh. Okay thanks folks. I’ll check it out.
