It’s a shame they don’t count the online viewers along with the ratings for tv.
Those 933,000 viewers for the opening ceremony don’t count the people that were also viewing online.
It’s amzing the difference between the opening and closing ceremonies (8 times). All because one was during the work week, while the other was on the weekend.
Good job CBC. I’ll miss the Olympic Updates on Radio One, it was a great way of keeping up to date on things during the day. I don’t imagine the CBC will have the same ability to do them without the rights in 2010. Good luck getting the them back for 2014.
8.2 million for the Closing Ceremony???
Was that a typo???
Thank you so much for your Olympics coverage CBC! I thought you did a fantastic job and since I don’t have cable I really appreciated being able to see various events online. I’m going to miss you in 2010 and all I can say is, CTV better do an amazing job.
