CBC’s blogs among the nation’s highest ranked
The CBC’s Radio 3 blog and InsideTheCBC.com are among the top three media blogs in Canada.
Nearly than 1,800 votes were cast for the 2006 Canadian Blog Awards and CBC Radio 3 came in second, with this site placing third. (Antonia Zerbisais‘ Toronto Star blog, which hasn’t been active since this past summer, ranked first.)
Other CBC-related blogs also placed well. The Stroumboulopouli, a group blog for fans of George Stroumboulopoulos, was a finalist in the Group Blog category, as was Rick Mercer’s blog for in the Humour category.

congratulations!!!! i’m always happy when cbc earns something…i’ve had my radio dial stuck there for 30 years now.
besides coming here previously to shamlessley self promote myself (which i’m sure detracted rather then attracted), i did place in three categories…hmmm, must be my penchant for cbc that got helped get me there
.
keep on trucking and i’ll continue to trounce any government cutbacks to mother corp.!!!!

The site is pumped, and speaks for itself.
Those Google videos are a brilliant direction.
