Roughed Up While Covering the Torch Relay?
The Canadian Media Guild is looking into reports that security officers for the Olympic torch relay have been a little over-zealous.
On Friday a couple of Toronto Sun photographers got roughed up, one of them was pushed to the ground and suffered a concussion.
“We’ve heard this is more common than you’d think so we need to find out more and take legal action if necessary,” Lise Lareau, president of the Guild said. “It’s important to establish ground rules before the Games begin in Vancouver.”
