Greetings from B.C.

I can only echo what has been said above! I do get tired of only watching U.S. channels. Canadians DO want to watch our own TV content, but when a show as informative, fun, and down to earth as Stephen and Chris, is cancelled because of money issues, what choices do we have?
PLEASE bring them back!! Thank you..

Steven and Chris are going to be missed by alot of women all over the country. In the Maritime's it;s hard to find someone who doesn't watch the show. We are disgusted and can't understand why other shows with less appeal are remaining while these great guys are getting cut. It reinforces my views that Canadian televison execs are not in touch with what the consumer wants to watch.

Just when I was getting over not seeing Marilyn Dennis on Cityline anymore I'll have to suffer through Steven and Chris withdrawls. This is starting to get old really quickly. I think I'll return to American television and stay there. They seem to know when they have a winner and stick with it.

This really ticks me off, Steven and Christ were the only daytime show I watch on CBC, so now I guess that means I dont watch CBC now and I think just because of this, I'll stop watching CBC altogether. I have a huge network of friends and we all enjoy The Steven and Chris show so much and look forward to it every day.

I wonder why they cancel the only worthwhile shows? I think the Exec's should give themselves a shake and perhaps look to their own salaries before robbing the viewership of a great and entertaining show. I hope some other network has the sense to pick them up and carry on, the show is 100X's better than the "new" CityLine which is dead since Marilyn left, that's when I jumped ship. Now there's nothing with good content to watch.

Ho Hum CBC, you messed up.

Any chance this blog would be interested in starting to post on Twitter? It has some great membership and is would be a welcome addition. My favourite twitter feeds are CBC News, CTV, Global, NP, Star, City-TV, CP24 and one that keeps everyone up to date on layoffs in the media industry called CanMediaLayoffs

I post too and enjoy it very much.

Those contract positions - I know of a few there that have been on contract for nearly a decade.

That's one of the differences between contract & staff. The union fights harder for you.

How is it that Steve Faguy is allowed to link to his blog here in the comments, when he doesn't work for the CBC?
What are the guidelines being used to discriminate amongst the people posting comments?
