CRTC renews CBC broadcast licence
The CRTC has extended the term of CBC’s broadcasting networks until August 31, 2009, while it completes its reviews of the regulations governing television services. Renewal hearings for major television groups, including CTVgm, Canwest, TQS and CBC/Radio-Canada are slated to start in 2009. Our hearings are expected to follow the private broadcasters.
