Sounds like a vague threat to the CMG. When in fact, as this speech reveals, he admits this is a line taken from “Dan.” I presume this is Dan Oldfield, CMG representative, and presumably to the CMG.
So the CMG told the CMG that “failure is not an option.” But corporate communications spun it as Hubert getting a little tough with the union.
To my eyes and ears, this is the old adversarial way of thinking and working, totally opposite of what Hubert is speaking about in the video. His heart might be in the right place, but it’s obvious he has a lot of work to do in his own team, too.
