What Does the CBC Mean to You?
I’ve been playing around with some new polling software. Unlike traditional online polls that present a pre-determined multiple-choice set of answers, this software allows for unlimited answers, which you, the person taking the poll, can add. So it’s kinda like a multiple choice exam in university, except with this you answer other students questions, and then add your own. Clear as mud, right?
It’s easier to understand if you try it. Here’s the poll, I’ve inputed the first two questions, answer those, and then add your own (note, you’ll need to register to add questions, if that’s too onerous, just add a question in the comments and I’ll add it to the poll for you). All the answers are ‘Yes’, ‘No’, or ‘Don’t Care’, so be sure to phrase your questions accordingly. The questions are moderated, so there will be a bit of delay before you see them on the site.
And, I should add, I don’t expect this to be scientific or even very serious, I’d like it to gauge the sentiment about the CBC, but ultimately that’s up to you.

Ah, I am still angry at CBC and want to ask the following.
“Should CBC drop its use iCopyright system and learn to provide great embeddable online content like NFB.ca?”
Fortunately, my excuse of not asking it in the above poll is that I have to register and create yet another account.
The sadest thing about the CBC Radio was the loss of Radio Drama.
It was a relatively inexpensive venue that provided work for actors and writers all over this country while enjoying an audience base that appreciated “theatre of the mind”
Morg, Kempton,
I’ve added both your questions.
Morg, I assumed your comment was actually a question intended for the poll.
I’d like to “see” a bit more radio drama and comedy again. (And, yes, _Afghanada_ works, but by itself isn’t enough! Nor _Monsoon House_ reruns, for that matter…)
1) Anyone else hate the “all inclusive” music flow programs on Radio 2 and miss Jazz Beat, Pearls of Wisdom, and Brave New Waves?
I thought I had an account, but as Kempton says, there are soooo many out there, I can’t remember the correct e-mail/password combination to make it work!
Is CBC on the right track with it’s current focus on entertainment? Are the new TV shows better than past attempts to entertain the public?
“What does the CBC mean to me?” Sadly, nothing anymore. I only check in on this site once in a while to read what’s been written about a dead corporation.
